I play bass in a hardcore band called Think Again. We've done one full-US tour, a few east coast tours, one midwest tour, and a couple of eastern canada runs. We put out a full-length on Arrest Records last summer. www.facebook.com/thinkagainmathinkagainmvhc.tumblr.comI also play drums in an emo/punk band called Form & File. We used to be called Stand By Me, but went through some sound/member changes. If you like Mineral, The Get Up Kids, Braid, Archers of Loaf, etc., you might dig it. We're looking to play out a lot more this summer, so book us. www.facebook.com/formandfileformandfile.bandcamp.comformandfile.wordpress.com

I have a lot of trouble hearing the guitar because i'm in the drum kit and can't hear over the cymbals and stuff I've tried using monitors but we cant get them at every show. would some earplugs help (speaking of earplugs i almost blew my eardrum today on our first song)?

I play drums in a band called Bird Law. We haven't played any shows yet, but we're totally going to host one in our practice space. That's "punk" right?

Yeah actually, vokills were done in a different session, due to time constraints. Obviously those tracks are just rough demo's though, we're recording some brand new stuff at some point in the next month. Cheers man! And as for your other question, yeah, earplugs will help, our drummer swears by them (For shows and practice).
